The test we offer is a DNA based test only. The addition of testing the RNA can sometimes find certain harmful changes in the genetic code that cannot be found by looking at the DNA. Our laboratory partner, Myriad Genetics, may request a blood sample to analyze an individual’s RNA if they are suspicious about the test results. Most people will not have their RNA analyzed.
