Thanks to CCJGD for recognizing her efforts. Dr. Susan Gross, our first Cousin, is the daughter of the few Holocaust-surviving members of our families and we are most proud of her being honored. Your honoree, Dr. Susan Gross, is my wonderful daughter-in-law. Her complete and energetic commitment to groundbreaking work in genetic screening to achieve reproductive health in the community is remarkable. She is truly dedicated to helping young people address potentially life-saving situations. My husband Aaron and I very much appreciate the recognition of her efforts at this inspiring CCJGD event. Susan, Abba and I are very proud of you, not only for your contributions to this very important field, but also for all of your many accomplishments. May you go from strength to strength. Rachel Weinstock Congratulations to my wonderful niece, Susan Gross, and to your organization for choosing to honor her. Not only has Susan made outstanding contributions to the field of genetics and reproductive health, she regularly devotes a significant portion of her private time to advising, with great empathy and kindness, the many who approach her with personal issues related to genetics. I regret that I cannot be at the dinner in person to join in your tribute to this woman of valor whose only discernible flaw is her devotion to the New York Yankees. Judith Feder Sue, To Sue and the CCJGD: I wanted to thank Dr. Susan Gross for her tireless efforts in establishing the Human Genetics Laboratory at Jacobi Medical Center, and enabling a significant expansion in the scope of Jewish genetic screening programs. Her dedication and skill in guiding this undertaking past many supposed obstacles has truly been an inspiration to all of us associated with the program, and she is most deserving of this recognition by CCJGD. Congratulations to my Mom, Dr. Susan Gross. I'm so proud of you for the tireless effort you put into helping the lives of others. It is very inspiring to have a mother with such a huge lists of accomplishments, not the least of which is having raised three really awesome children. I know that this dinner is in your honor, but I always feel like I am honored to be your son. Mazal Tov Mumsy!
