Jewish Genetic Disorders: Assessing Risk from Prenatal through Menopause

Join distinguished physician Dr. Lee Shulman for an engaging and informative discussion about genetic disorders and hereditary cancers with increased incidence in Jews, such as Tay-Sachs disease, familial dysautonomia and the BRCA breast and ovarian cancer predisposition mutations.

Dr. Shulman is a member of numerous regional, national and international organizations that pertain to the health and care of women. His work has been recognized regionally and nationally; most recently, he was included in the list of “Top Doctors” in Chicago (2009-10) and the United States. His major research interests are in reproductive genetics, contraception, menopause and botanical interventions in women’s health and menopause.
